Abstract
On the premiere of György Ligeti's opera Le Grand Macabre the Ensemble Opera Nova dedicates a concert to this important composer of the 20th century. Ligeti classics such as the polymetrically intricate piano tudes, the shimmering harpsichord piece Continuum, the Six Bagatelles for Wind Quintet or the Late Horn Concerto will be heard.
